The City of London has many names: The Square Mile; The City; The Financial District, whatever you want to call it, this tour will help you explore it! This 2 ½ hour City of London Walking Tour will take in all of the City’s most famous landmarks as well as some hidden gems that you may not have known were there.
Selecting the best sights, locations and anecdote this tour will give you a good overview of the City of London, covering the Romans, the Great Fire of London, the Livery Companies, new modern buildings and much more.
Covering 2000 years of history you will be taken down small side streets with peculiar names, see the River Thames and find out about imposing and grand buildings including St Paul’s Cathedral, Guildhall and the Tower of London.
The tour will include plenty of opportunities to take photos. As with all our walking tours, we limit the size of the group to 30 people to ensure you have a positive experience and can easily hear your guide.
Please note that owing to the nature of the locations visited, this tour is not accessible for wheelchair users or for parents with prams.
This tour will go ahead come rain or shine, so please wear comfortable and weather appropriate walking shoes and clothing.
